New Additions

I've made and added 2 new necklaces to my gallery.
Both are pretty much my signature styles with my handmade polymer clay pieces as focals.

These one-of-a-kind pieces are easy to match with your work or casual outfits. It adds an instant zest and probably will be a conversational topic! (or so that's what I hear from other buyers!)

Busy Caning

I had been busy making these new clay canes today! =)

*Dang! my shoulders are aching so much*

This is my other downside to crafting. When inspiration hits (sometimes at odd hours), you just gotta get down to making it! There's no stopping unless you REALLY have to. The main downside is TIME! I know I have to be discipline about my time management else the kids will have to live in a dusty home and go hungry! =p

I have prepared these new canes for use with my next batch of bead sale - well I should be holding one next week HERE. These canes are also for use in bead customisations. If you're keen to customise beads, I'll send along a link to you with my collection of cane designs to make your very own designer beads! =)

I've Switched Host!

For the longest time, since I started out my jewelry website in 2005, Bravenet was my choice host.

Today, I decided I need a fresh new look (yes again!). So I've switched my host to Blogger!! I fell in love with the template that I am using!! It's so ME!! We are still under the domain of www.adessentials.sg so everyone that has bookmarked us will not miss us! yay!

I had so much fun doing up the new look of my shop! I hope you shoppers out there like it too.

Jewelry Makeover!

A customer of mine turned good friend, owns quite a fair bit of necklaces that I've made so far.
The original design of the above necklaces (shown inset) were more than a year old and looked a little outdated! So we arranged to have it returned to me for a jewelry makeover.

Wala!

With a few replacement of beads, parts and re-arrangement of beads position, the necklaces are given a new life! =D

Hair Clip Debut

This is my first try making a polymer clay bead hair clip!
I could only think of making a flower shape design when I embarked on this. Didn't turn out so bad after all. =)

It's available for sale from today in my store at a special debut price.

Will plan for more hair accessories soon. Do look out for it!

What's new in store!

It's been a while since I came out with earring designs.
I hope I won't disappoint the earring fans out there with my latest creations!

'Rosa' is a cabochon style earrings - large clear faceted bronze studs embedded with my handcrafted glittered rose polymer clay frame. Brass dragonfly is wired on for a unique touch. This is an exclusive design!

'Delphine' is made with my hand crafted polymer clay beads in sweet peach and pink hues. The gold foil on the beads brings out the lovely blend of colors. Dyed bronze freshwater pearls tops the clay beads. What's unique here is the mismatched bead shapes that makes it so one-of-a-kind!

'Rosa' and 'Delphine' will be available in store today for S$19.00 & S$20.00 respectively.

My Wedding Anniversary

It's my 11th wedding anniversary today!
I couldn't be any happier to receive such a lovely bouquet.

The Sticker Affair

Last week, I was browsing through a fellow crafter's blog : Nature Autumn Designs and chanced upon an interesting post of which she featured an etsy artist and it enticed me to enter a contest just for fun!

And guess what I won?!!


These customised stickers are the creations of Red Head Diva Paper and it promptly arrived all the way from the USA within days! She certainly has very interesting range of sticker designs and really, I was spoilt for choice! I love the stickers I chose so very much apart from the many others that caught my eye. Geez it almost could pass off looking like my clay beads! =p

Red Head Diva Paper is definitely one of most generous artist I've ever come across and am very honored to receive her work of art. The stickers are of very good quality and came well packaged. Do pay her etsy store a visit and perhaps, customise a sticker for yourself too? =)

A birthday affair!

I was in a fluster last week when I found out that my husband was going for a business trip and could not rely on him to get a birthday pressi for my dear daughter - whose birthday falls on this Thursday. (If you don't already know, I have been confined to my home due to a foot injury and have been in a cast.)

Lo and behold, I found Tokomama.com on the internet and got this!

It's my daughter's first sewing kit! Ain't it cute? It comes completed with everything she needs to sew a few soft toys, a bag and a book cover! All with pre-cut shapes and instructions. I so just love the case!

The package arrived tonight nicely wrapped which the owner Sally, kindly offered to do so for me. I am obviously pleased because my daughter gave me the biggest and wettest kiss of thanks! ^__^ Priceless.

Now, there's certainly no excuse for anyone to miss a child's birthday anymore! =p
